You can only complete the purchase process online if all the data for the means of payment have been entered correctly. Check your details for spelling mistakes and make sure that the details of the CVC code (3-digit code on the back of the card) are available when paying by credit card. If payment by credit card is refused, it may be due to the credit balance, pay with another card if necessary. Sometimes it is also due to the browser, use a different one if necessary.

Groups of more than 10 people receive the reduced admission price. During major exhibitions, such group tickets are only available at the museum box office.

After payment, you will receive an email with your ticket as a PDF file. Tickets cannot be sent by post.

A server problem could cause a delay. Check your email inbox after a while.

The email with the ticket(s) may have ended up in spam or in the folder with unwanted emails.

Tickets cannot be reserved, neither by phone nor on site or online. You can buy various admission tickets easily and conveniently in our webshop.

Usually our tickets are valid without time restrictions and entitle you to enter the museum regardless of the day and time. This also applies to the major exhibitions. There may be deviations for special reasons, e.g. a pandemic, and the need to observe time windows.

Tickets that have already been purchased cannot be returned or the purchase price refunded. It is irrelevant whether you bought the ticket on site or online.

The Kunstmuseum Luzern regularly hosts three exhibitions at the same time. Tickets are always valid for the entire museum. It is not possible to purchase tickets that entitle the holder to enter individual exhibitions.

Groups of 10 or more receive the reduced admission price. The reduced price for groups of 10 or more cannot be combined with other discounts. If your group consists of more than 10 people or if you would also like a private guided tour, please contact our art education department. During the financially very intensive large exhibitions, the following concessions are not taken into account: art card, percentage book 2 for 1, radio 3fach, SWB, SGD, radio 3fach, free admissions Kunstmuseum Luzern, free ticket University of Lucerne. Otherwise, the usual entitlements for free admissions and reduced admissions apply, which you can find on our website.
