You can only complete the purchase process online if you have entered all the payment method details correctly. Check your details for spelling mistakes and make sure that the CVC code details (3-digit code on the back of the card) are present when paying by credit card. If the payment by credit card is rejected, it may be due to the credit balance, please pay with another card if necessary. Sometimes it is also due to the browser, please use a different one if necessary.

Groups of more than 10 people are eligible for the discounted admission price. During special exhibitions, these group tickets are only available at the museum ticket office.

Animals are not allowed in the museum. The only exceptions are guide dogs and assistance dogs.

The Kunstmuseum Luzern is located right next to the train station, in the KKL built by Jean Nouvel. There are two parking garages under the station forecourt.

Yes, we have a wonderful café. It serves a small but delicious range of food, from croissants to aperitifs. For table reservations for up to 15 people, you can call 041 226 78 14 or book online on aleno. For larger groups, please contact cafe.kunstmuseum@kkl-luzern.ch. The opening hours of the café vary depending on the season. You can find the current opening hours on our website.

To request private tours and curator-led tours, please contact us at kunstvermittlung@kunstmuseumluzern.ch; we will be happy to get in touch with you personally. During special exhibitions, private tours and the admission tickets required for them are sold exclusively at the museum ticket office. Purchases on account are not possible during this time.

Guided tours by persons who are not members of our art education team are not permitted. Our art education team has in-depth knowledge of our exhibitions and their backgrounds and will be happy to provide you with more detailed insights into our exhibitions.

Our museum is barrier-free. Accompanying or assisting persons can purchase a free ticket on site and online. A wheelchair and a rollator are available at the museum ticket desk. Further information on accessibility can be found here.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The museum is closed on Mondays.
