You can only complete the purchase process online if all the data for the means of payment have been entered correctly. Check your details for spelling mistakes and make sure that the details of the CVC code (3-digit code on the back of the card) are available when paying by credit card. If payment by credit card is refused, it may be due to the credit balance, pay with another card if necessary. Sometimes it is also due to the browser, use a different one if necessary.

Groups of more than 10 people receive the reduced admission price. During major exhibitions, such group tickets are only available at the museum box office.

Animals are not allowed in the museum. The only exception is guide dogs or assistance dogs.

The Kunstmuseum Luzern is located right next to the train station, in the KKL built by Jean Nouvel. There are two parking garages under the station forecourt.

Yes, we have a wonderful café. It serves a small but fine selection from croissants to aperitifs. For table reservations for up to 15 people, you can call 041 226 78 14. For larger groups, please contact franziska.rossi@kkl-luzern.ch. The café's opening hours vary depending on the season. You can find the current opening hours on our website.

You are welcome to request bookings for private tours and curator tours at kunstvermittlung@kunstmuseumluzern.ch or by calling 041 226 78 18. We will then be happy to contact you personally. During large exhibitions, the guided tours and also the tickets required for them are paid for at the museum box office and cannot be purchased on account.

Guided tours by third parties are not permitted. Our art education staff has profound knowledge of our exhibitions and their backgrounds and will be happy to provide you with in-depth insights into our exhibitions.

The same conditions apply for persons with disabilities as for all other visitors. Accompanying persons can purchase a free ticket on site and online. If you need a wheelchair, please reserve it in advance by calling 041 226 78 00 or visiting info@kunstmuseumluzern.ch.

Our opening hours are DI, DO-SO 11 am - 6 pm and MI 11 am - 7 pm, during our big exhibitions DI and DO to SO 10 am - 6 pm, MI 10 am - 7 pm.
