The multimedia guide delves deeper into selected works and can be listened to and read on your smartphone. The multimedia guide is free of charge and available in four languages (D/E/F/I). WLAN is available free of charge in the museum. Our staff will be happy to assist you with technical questions.

A guarded checkroom is available for particularly valuable clothing and bags. There are free lockers for the rest of the checkroom and an unguarded clothes rack with numerous hanging options for coats and jackets. No liability is accepted for unguarded checkrooms.

No luggage can be stored in the Kunstmuseum Luzern . Please leave suitcases and other luggage in the station directly opposite. The size of our lockers is only suitable for handbags. Bags up to a size of DIN A4 (20×30×10cm) may be taken into the exhibition. For security reasons, this rule must be strictly adhered to. Our supervisory staff will ask you to do so if you have forgotten.

After payment you will receive an e-mail with your ticket as a PDF file. Tickets will not be sent by post.

Public guided tours usually take place on Wednesdays at 6 pm and Sundays at 11 am and are included in the admission price.

During major exhibitions, public guided tours take place every Tuesday-Saturday at 3 pm and Sunday at 11 am. Reserve your time slot, the number of participants is limited.

A server problem could cause a delay. Check your email inbox after a while.

The e-mail with the ticket(s) may have ended up in spam or in the folder with unwanted e-mails.

Public guided tours are free of charge. If you present a valid admission ticket, you can take part in the public tours without making a reservation.

During major exhibitions, the number of participants is limited. To ensure that you can take part in the guided tour on your preferred date, you therefore need a reservation. This "public guided tour ticket" is free of charge and does not entitle you to enter the museum, for which you must also purchase an admission ticket. A ticket for the public tour can only be purchased online together with an admission ticket.

Tickets cannot be reserved, either by telephone, on site or online. You can buy various admission tickets easily and conveniently in our online store. This saves you having to queue.

Our admission tickets are usually valid without time restrictions and entitle you to enter the museum regardless of the day and time. This also applies during major exhibitions. Deviations may occur for special reasons, e.g. a pandemic, and it may be necessary to adhere to time slots.

Tickets for public tours are valid for the day or time you selected when purchasing.

Tickets that have already been purchased cannot be returned or the purchase price refunded. It is irrelevant whether you bought the ticket on site or online.
