The Kunstmuseum Luzern regularly hosts three exhibitions at the same time. Tickets are always valid for the entire museum. It is not possible to purchase tickets that entitle the holder to enter individual exhibitions.
During major exhibitions, there may be waiting times during the busiest times, i.e. between 10 am and 3 pm.
Groups of 10 or more receive the reduced admission price. The reduced price for groups of 10 or more cannot be combined with other discounts. If your group consists of more than 10 people or if you would also like a private guided tour, please contact our art education department. You can reach them at kunstvermittlung@kunstmuseumluzern.ch or on 041 226 78 18.
Current discounts can be found on our website under admission fees.
During major exhibitions, the admission prices vary because they go beyond the scope of the usual, not only from an artistic but also from a financial point of view. In these cases, it is not possible for the Kunstgesellschaft Luzern to maintain the usual pricing. Holders of the Raiffeisen Card, the Lucerne and Swiss Museum Pass, a Swiss Travel System Pass and the Lucerne Guest Card can enjoy the major exhibition at a reduced admission price. You can find tickets in our online store. Please show your Raiffeisen Card, Museum Pass or other identification at the museum entrance.
Members of the Kunstgesellschaft Luzern can obtain free tickets for the exhibition both on site and in the online store. Please show your membership card at the museum entrance.
Please note that these free admissions are linked to membership of the Kunstgesellschaft Luzern . The discount is linked to the person in whose name the membership is registered.
